Industrial Equipment Testing Laboratory
The Laboratory provides end-to-end testing services for industrial automatics components, devices and systems and other electrical and electronic products. EMC electromagnetic compatibility testing, environmental testing in climatic chambers, electrical safety testing and vibration testing are all carried out.
The laboratory offers testing in climatic chambers within temperature ranges from -50 °C to +85 °C and relative humidity from 10 %RH to 95%RH including exposure to thermal shocks. One of our climatic chambers, with a test volume of 12 m3, enables large-sized equipment to be tested.
Mechanical Vibration and Shock Testing
The Laboratory performs tests for sinusoidal and random vibrations, as well as for mechanical shocks in three mutually perpendicular axes. We are experienced in testing civilian equipment as well as railways and military equipment.
Electrical Safety Testing
The Laboratory performs electrical safety tests, including electrical insulation strength, continuity of protective connections, as well as touch voltage and leakage current measurements. Electrical and electronic products are tested with operating voltages up to 400 VAC.
EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility
The laboratory tests the equipment, systems and plants for conformity with the EMC Directive and the relevant harmonised European standards, both prototypes and market-ready products.
The Laboratory supports the development of a tailor-made test programme and consulting on product adaptation to the requirements of the EMC Directive.
Temperature and Humidity Measurement Laboratory
LPTW's accredited laboratory provides calibration services for temperature and relative humidity measuring instruments: thermometers, thermohygrometers and hygrometers with digital readout. Besides accreditation, temperature and relative humidity transducers, pyrometers and pressure gauges are also calibrated by us. Our customers are made up of, among others, hospitals, medical units, cold stores, industrial plants and broadly defined catering industry.
Calibration of Temperature and Relative Humidity Measuring Instruments
The LPTW Temperature and Humidity Measurements Laboratory is accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation with certificate No: AP 196 for the calibration of instruments used to measure temperature and relative humidity: thermometers, hygrometers and electric thermohygrometers.
Calibration of Pressure Gauges
The Laboratory provides non-accredited calibration services for instruments such as indicating and electronic pressure gauges, pressure transducers and pressure data loggers.
Calibration of Pyrometers
The Laboratory performs non-accredited calibration services of pyrometers, non-contact temperature measurement devices equipped with electronic displays, pyrometers with analogue outputs 0-10 V, 4-20 mA; instruments with other ranges can also be calibrated. Pyrometers used in the food industry, gastronomy and other industries are most often calibrated by the Laboratory.
Calibration of Temperature and Humidity Transducers with digital or analogue outputs
The Laboratory provides non-accredited services in calibration of temperature and humidity transducers that have analogue outputs of 0-10 V, 4-20 mA; instruments with other ranges can also be calibrated. In the case of transducers with digital outputs, both typical and non-standard solutions are supported, depending on the customers' requirements.
